The HOCG is proud of the commitment and dedication every member puts into gardening, and especially into the many projects and activities some of them have initiated.
- PAR (Plant-A-Row For the Hungry) is a nationwide movement which encourages farmers and gardeners to plant one extra row and donate the produce locally to those in need. PAR is our garden's outreach to the community, and our goal is to bring fresh organic produce to our neighbors in Howell. We donate to Joshua House Food Pantry, Howell Senior Center, and the Howell Food Pantry, Prince of Peace & Christ Church, to name a few. Garden members participate in planting, seeding, maintaining, harvesting, and delivering.
